it's a weekend filled with hockey madness
caught the semi-finals of the men's div 1 & 2
both played really well and should have won
div 1 lost by a mere 2-1 in penalty strokes after extra time
bad calls from the damn umpire caused div 2 to concede a goal
then went on to lose 2-0
saw viv at div 1 game cos jeremiah was playing of course haha!

sat was aaron's last game before going back to aus
so sad for him, he came at the wrong time
with all the financial crisis
it was a rather good night spent at the club
with half of them i dont really know
rose was there of course
i was so bloated at the end of the night with food and beer
but when i reach home, i still ate tom yam cup noodles
i think i've been eating a lot of that when i drink
and i think i've been drinking more the past 3months than the whole of last yr!

anyway i've been eating alot lately
like ALOT!
is it cos of stress at work or something =/
maybe cos my period is coming?
who cares!
either way i need to lose the fats!
havent been to the gym for a month
cos of F1 and bad weather!
u must be wondering why cos of bad weather
cos rainy days makes me lazy!
so comfy to sleep in =)

work is fucking stressful!

the person teaching me is damn blur

while waiting for the damn movie to load
i decided to blabber for a while

schools ended early due to teacher's day celebration
and i had dental at 1145am
so i ran into an influx of students
i really cant stand them!
i know.. i was like them once
but god are they annoying
staying near a pri sch, sec sch AND jc...
imagine the number of students
scrambling every corner of the neighbourhood
once the bell goes off =/
i call that the "peak period"
during that period i would refuse to step out of my house
unless i really have to

anyway a funny thought crossed my mind today
i heard a few students talking abt exams
while en route to the dentist
(oh oh guess what colour did i pick for this month?)
suddenly i miss exams!
am i weird or insane? =/
i dont miss the studying part though

i've been soooo lazy to blog
but i'm in the mood to type today

i've been completely caught with the olympics
for the past 2 weeks
it gets me really excited!
like REEEEEEEEEALLY EXXXXXXXCITED!
but frustrated at the same time
1)disappointing results
2)godamn mediacorp is fucked up
arggg!
example: the teletext says 12am-2am Women's Hockey Final
guess what happens at the stroke of midnight?
an entire screen of the colour GREY!
it lasted for 30secs?
then it went into commercial and guess what it shows next
CANOE/KAYAK
which part of the 2 words form the word HOCKEY!
stayed up for godamn nothing
i was soooo tired!
but at least canoe/kayak is not too bad to watch
if it had showed table tennis or badminton....
i would charge into the broadcasting station and strangle them
with my gloved hands!
wouldnt wanna touch them with my bare hands

ok anyway gyming will be a regular thing for me now
i have to make it a regular thing
as coach and everyone else always say....
i need more strength...
advise taken.
really am gonna work hard these precious few months
cos all will be focused on basics
i'm gonna strengthen my basics
basics is the fundamental of greater things
definitely want coach to see that i am a better player
the hunger and thirst is so overhelming
and with the olympics...
the motivation and inspiration is on an all time HIGH!
gonna capitalise on that before my laziness kicks in haha

EPL season started last week
man utd is disappointing...
most matches were exciting though
especially middlesbrough vs spurs

i think people who are not into sports are pretty sad
they probably had a miserable 2 weeks haha!

the only good thing that happened today is

wednesday is a busy busy day

then it's training!
it was so tiring and a bit shit

well at least the strengthening part is kinda fun
which made my body ache more
rushed home to get ready to head out
went to shelford first for some drinks
before heading out with 2 dudes and 2 dudettes
so it was 2 dudes and 3 dudettes at attica
then it became 2 dudes and 4 dudettes
zahrah randomly went up to this girl who is dancing alone
(yes zahrah was high, even the girl says she's crazy lol!)
anyway she's glenda from italy
zahrah & div got her number and i got her email
gotta remind myself to send her the pics
she's really nice
shared her drink with us
and bought me one later
we're gonna ask her along next week to party when dhar's back
talking abt dhar, i told glenda she'll meet someone more crazy than zahrah
hehehe
we were at a road block on the way back to shelford
the policeman was really nice and understanding
but i was a lil annoyed cos i really needed to pee

then went to the clubhouse to pay the tour fees

went to sally's place for lunch and caught a couple of horror flicks
naomi is just so funny
besides the "getting to sally's place" part haha
she scares herself more than the movie scares her

the coleraine school was held up at teck whye
they were really late
had to play 6-aside, half pitch till they finally came
it's was too hot and we havent got much time left
so we only played 15mins halves

supposed to wake up at 930am but i switched off the alarm
woke up at around 12pm but didnt wanna get outta bed
vima called so i finally got myself to get my ass off the bed
it's a really hot day
and i didnt expect to see so many new jsms

i'm just so so tired
got hit right on top of my head by a basketball
then later on
hit on the face by the basketball again

went along with sup to meet her mum at bugis after that

anyway i'm so "proud" of myself yesterday
supposed to wake up at 930am to get the day started
BUT i woke up at around 1240pm
walked all the way to central to buy lunch and the chips
the chips.. -.-
wasted my effort argg!
played psp as usual till it's time to go to the club
to meet sup for gym
but something bad happened at the fish farm
so sup couldnt make it
it's ok sup, no worries!
things didnt turn out all that bad anyway
saw peter when i was walking into the club
sat in the ladies for a while
then it struck me that maybe div is there too
and i was right =)
went to the cricket net to hang out with her for a while
she and peter were coaching the boys for the camp
it was ending so i waited for div so we could go off together
yea i didnt go to the gym
it's not the best timing to go
cos there'll be lotsa men in there
so took the ride with div, peter and a 15 yr old cricket boy
didnt catch his name but he remembered mine
he doesnt look 15 though
div dropped him off and then dropped me off
at the usual spot zahrah drop me
took 156, it was the nokia music bus
downloaded a few songs which idk is nice or not
cos i was listening to my zen
in the end all the songs suck
the bands were from idk which island -.-
took a long walk home
(from sup's house bus stop to my house)
it was kinda nice though
the weather was nice and the road/street wasnt that busy
i kinda like talking walks like this
usually i would take another bus all the way to my house
(just 2 stops)
but i just felt like walking
i've got nothing better to do anyway
usually when i've got the mood for such walks..
i'm either very happy or have a lot of stuff on my mind
the 2 extremes
but last night was different
idk how to describe my mood

stayed up playing psp while waiting for the match to start
damn starhub had a very bad broadcasting problem
which made me miss the highlight of the game!
my dad and i were swearing at the tv
but luckily i didnt miss the final goal
or i would've called them up and give them a piece of my mind man
ok i was a lil cranky cos of lack of sleep and it's a germany match!!
but they made it up after the match, showing the parts we missed
such an heart stopping match
all the turks look weird except for maybe a couple of them
i dont remember them looking like that 8 yrs ago?
during the world cup, ilan mansiz was so hot
he was the sub who scored the golden goal in extra time for turkey
my sis was crazy abt him too
guess what she did?

anyway back to the current turks
that kazim kazim guy is a total show off
he's good but not great
he plays for the crowd!

JIAWEN the german hockey players are not hot enough for u

went to sally's place for lunch
lasagna&brownies were good
we had coke and that got jean started talking abt bourbon coke
then jiawen wanted to go to SPCA to look for the dog they found
sharon drove her dad's merz
it was so nice and new of course
couldnt find the dog as only 1.5% (i calculated) could make it out to the adoption cage
back to sally's place and waited for her to get ready
and also waited for jiawen to brainstorm on what to wear haha
in the end we decided we'll get back to her place after her tuition
jiawen went for tuition while we went to sharon's place
havent been there for quite some time and it's still the same lol
watched the longest yard and jean fell asleep
then it's time to go pick up naomi
sally's going drinking with her
this time we switched back to sharon's comfy old car haha
we made jean sit in the middle so she could mingle haha!
they tried persuading jean to go with them by offering bourbon coke lol
but we still decided to catch the movie cos:
1)sharon cant drink as she's driving
2)we're not dressed properly
3)it's expensive at chjimes even though there's happy hr
4)it's supposed to be just the 2 of them anyway haha!
we dropped them off somewhere at credit suisse
and went off to pick jiawen up
jean and sharon were fighting for who-knows-the-direction-best title
while i just enjoy the ride in the backseat

the voice of jiawen's lift is "sexy" in a weird way
oh her dog is sooooo cute!
finally got to see the real thing after looking at so many pics of her
she kept sniffing my toes

always wanted a miniature schnauzer since i was little

took forever to get a cab

we're late but still considered early

waited for naomi to shower then we're off to techno for lunch
miss the chicken cutlet rice there
it's $4.30 NOW instead of $3.50 damnit!
but it still taste as good
not enough room in the car for loga, pradap & shakthi
so they had to get to scc themselves
naomi's stomach hurt from that plate of chicken rice at techno
the last time she ate hokkien mee there, she had diarrhea

it's just as hot at padang as it was at tp
mr sunshine doesnt quit but grows stronger =/
had a great time at the sports fiesta
we sucked at soccer, tennis, squash
did alright at snooker, darts, rugby, lawn bowls
roz was fantastic in bowls i tell u
we all bet she'll retire from hockey and play lawn bowls
she actually said hockey is her 2nd sport lol!
we dominated in balut, men's hockey(of course) & cricket!
roz got a BALUT! which is all of the same number
and she got all 1s so it was even better!
sup, sharon & karmila was close to perfection too
sup was the star in men's hockey
she juggled with 1 hand so for each juggle she gets double the points
everyone did great at cricket and we won soccer section by a point to top it!
oh sally came down for a while before going to work
played basketball for a while with some boys and guys
i agree with sup those 2 boys are so rude, totally no manners
i've already knew the older one is cocky when we were playing soccer
didnt know the younger one is worse
really didnt feel like playing and wanted to walk off for a shower
but decided to play a while more when the hockey guys joined in
i was glad it was finally time for the prize presentation
we didnt think we would win since at the halfway mark we've only got 11points
that's way behind the rest of the sections
but we came back and WON! with 91points
WOOOHOOO!
it was so unexpected!
when they announced it we just look at each other for a while
then SCREAMS OF JOY! LOL!
the best part is our captain jeanette is leaving when they announced it
$500 for our section fund!! weeeee
but we only get to spend $100 of it
which means $10 each
i think roz spent it but not sure if she helped me spend mine
when she ordered a drink for me

sat at the seats outside the ladies and talked to sharon
while waiting for her dad
we sat there for idk how long and just talked and talked
the conversation was really interesting
saw roz and she asked if we wanted to join her and denise for dinner at stumps
i was tired and thought it'll be weird cos i think her friends will be there also
then it's time to go cos sharon gotta pick her brother up
waited quite a while for the bus
then when it finally came, the damn bus went right past me
like WTF!! made me look like a total idiot
so i wonder if it meant i should go join roz and denise up at stumps
was sitting at the bus stop for a while and comtemplating it
decided to go since roz is leaving the next day and i wanted to say bye
saw nat in the ladies, talked and waited for her to go up together
then vima, zee, jiawen and naomi came in
their meeting just ended
cant believe i sat with sharon that long

they left and i went up to stumps with nat
couldnt find denise
so i sat with agnes, nat, theguyatthedunkingstation, theguywhoclaimhehasneverdyedhishair & his family
theguyatthedunkingstation actually thought i was jeanette
theguywhoclaimhehasneverdyedhishair thought he saw me at election night this year
weirdos or maybe it's too much beer under the sun
agnes & nat gotta leave so i joined denise (finally found her)
she was reading a dora the explorer story to her friend's daughter caris
she is so cute!
she can count 1 to 7 in spanish
when denise change the words a bit she'll say noooo
she is soooo cute!
then she had to go home to get into bed
roz's friends started arriving
i was starting to feel awkward
then roz ordered a glass of tiger for me
so i decided to finish the drink then go
but after that i started talking to one of roz's friend
then things got better
then i talked to the cute girl's mum
she's so nice
she told me abt caris and how she's cute
she can speak mandarin and she's only 4 yrs old!
plus she's really good at that for her age
but she wont speak mandarin to her mum
cos she speaks english to her
like u speak a certain language to certain ppl
and when her mum pronounce something wrong
she'll say "no mum, listennn" while pulling her ear
omg soooo cute lah!
she is so nice
she works in a bank and her husband is in the accounting field
she told me abt this company her friend just set up
it's abt training ppl and sending them to banks to work
it sounds quite interesting but i'm not too sure abt the hours
she gave me her husband's card since she didnt have hers with her
told me to email her if i'm interested
then she went for a smoke with denise
so i talked to her husband who was in the Walsh hockey team
and was once invited to the queen's palace
they're both so nice i tell u
then we went to join the majority at the smoking area
roz bought me more beer
met roz's colleagues or maybe bosses
funny bunch
i talked to 1 of them and he asked if i do admin
but didnt get his card cos he didnt have it with him
then denise brought up roz's so-called waterproof bag lol
idk how we went on tease roz's belt when cameras started flashing
then they're off to club street but i was really too tired to join them
roz left in a flash, leaving the rest to share cabs
3 men in one and 3 women in one
denise was nice enough to get 1 for me before they get 1
so i CABBED home again

slept like a log till 1plus today
shock to know russia won netherlands
like omg! so unexpected!
raiha mentioned so far all the runner-ups of the groups have won the 1/4
i hope it's not true tonight
spain gotta beat italy
i want germany and spain in the finals
although i've decided to support germany before euro started
my heart is supporting spain though
so if both are in the finals, i wouldnt have to choose haha!

cant believe aussie lost to argentina in CT
but glad i could watch it thanks to worldhockey tv

man it was crazy last night

everything was quite rush lol
rushed off to meet sharon to get the cake & stuff

rushed off to naomi's place
she was hurrying us to get there before 7pm or else the food will be cold
but we were still late haha
couldnt get on the damn train at that damn hour
sup & jiawen managed to squeeze in
but me, sally & sharon had to squeeze in the the next one
took a long walk to her place from the station
her condo has "streets like europe", very nice
we channel surfed while she cooks
(my fault cos i was supposed to call her when we're at bedok station, oops!)
after realising there's nothing nice on cable
cos her cable channels are really basic
we settled on the ch8 7pm show
we were glued to the tv till "mummy nemo" had to turn off the tv
to get us to eat dinner lol
it was good of course
dessert was even better
then the bar opened
our aim is to get everyone high before going to mos
we started off slow till we played other games that will speed it up
idk what exactly i drank but it wasnt too bad
jiawen was the first one to get really red
i'm surprised i wasnt red at all
oh we convinced sup to go to mos with us and thought of an excuse for her
we're bad! hahaha!

next stop - MOS
met div and sarah there
we casually cut into the queue ;)
but in the end we had to get out
to help naomi finish the redbull vodka she brought
mos was rather empty maybe cos it was too early
so we head to arena for free flow
and the lime vodka is ABSOLUTELY TASTELESS
like OMG!
it taste like water with a squirt of lime, blurgh!
arena sucked..
idk what time we went back to mos
i wasnt keeping track of time
it was soooo crowded
and then i saw a face.. a black face.. with a hair like a horse
shakthi! and mookie and tinghao and edward were there!
with a couple of girls idk i think
so dancing yeaaa (u know like the beegees song?)
ok anyway sally & sharon kept going to buy drink
cos those at arena is totally shitty
sally & naomi shared a flaming
after that naomi was gone.. to her world of swear words lol
sally was still fine
she went on to have tequila shots and shared a jug of long island with sharon
sharon was mad after that
naomi was worse
we had to surround her and hold her
she was swearing at everyone and kept saying she's ok
and wants to stay till 3 or 4
after going to the bathroom she wants to go back to the dance floor
we couldnt drag her out instead she dragged us in
sally went to send jiawen off
after a while we decided it really is time to go
we had to pick up another drunk one after getting out of the carpark
thanks diviya for giving us a ride!
thank god i was just a tad high which i myself am surprised
naomi was gone
sharon was crazy (but she still knows the directions)
sally was just sleeping lol
but strangely naomi woke up halfway through the ride and was fine from then on
so sally and i stayed over at naomi's place since sally cant get home like that
sharon wanted to stayover too but she was too smashed i think
so naomi took her back to div's car
had to get sally all the way up to naomi's room
luckily she wasnt puking that much
she knocked out after that, snoring lol

then back to the room with air-con
wearing naomi's chang beer singlet and spongebob squarepants shorts
so cold!
idk why naomi asked me to sleep on her bed
sally and her slept on the sofa bed
but it was comfy
only problem is i'm not sure if that was a blanket or just a big towel
so cold! i was curled up like a ball
i kept waking up and wondering why is it still so dark
and sally's alarm kept ringing!
and my bladder was so full so i had to pee
then sally woke me up at around 8am cos she wanted to go home
so we had a hard time trying to figure out how to wake naomi up
sally had to do it since she's closest to her haha!
she sort of woke up and we told her we're leaving
she mumble something.. then went on to sleep
then suddenly she turned and asked "what r both of u doing?"
we thought she heard us =/
anyway she "sleep walked" us to halfway to the station
sally and i decided to take the train till outram
we were both tired and lazy to transfer to bus
had to get off the outram station cos sally felt like puking again
but nothing came out
she bought water from guardian to get a plastic bag
just in case she puke
was drinking the water when this lady came up to us
and say not allowed to drink in the station
but it's only water! =/
finally got home and brushed my teeth
then i slept all the way till 6pm!

which mean i didnt go meet val to catch robin's match

today's father's day
so we went to have dinner at kfc
since all of us have not eaten kfc for a really long time
then we bought a tub of venezia ice cream home
finished it in abt... half an hr
but i'm still feeling hot!

yesterday was definitely THE BEST DAY EVER!

slipped and fell lots of time till my knees are red
with a few cuts

rushed to get roz's gift ready
then sup picked me up and we rushed to the club
for BASKETBALL!
it felt really good to be playing another sport with them
man denise is rough and damn good
we thought she's like some damn good basketball player
but guess what she replied?
"i'm just the coach"
we were like whoaaaaa
she said that so casually
oh roz hurt her leg while doing a lay up
which got in btw

the game wasnt too bad although the field is bad!
i actually feel good playing on grass
weird i know
we wanted a england vs the rest of the world thing
but of course they wont allow it haha
dinner after that was great
it's just so awesome to hang out with them
and talk abt absolutely randomly stupid stuff =)

i thought they're better than that
